These terms govern your purchase from tek-case.com.au, operated by Tek Manufacturing Pty Ltd (ABN 71 651 285 013) trading as Tek-Case Solutions. By placing an order, you agree to them.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Where these terms conflict with the ACL, the ACL wins.
1. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept your order when we email confirmation. We can refuse or cancel orders — for example, if stock is unavailable, if there’s a pricing error, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel, we refund in full.
Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Shipping is calculated at checkout.
2. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout via Stripe (credit card) or by bank transfer on request. Goods remain our property until paid in full.
3. Lead times and shipping
Common configurations ship within 1–2 weeks. Made-to-order configurations may take up to [4/6] weeks. We confirm your timeline within 24 hours of order.
Risk passes to you on delivery. If you’ve selected pickup, risk passes when you collect.
Shipping estimates are estimates, not guarantees. We’re not liable for delays caused by freight companies, weather, or other events outside our control.
4. Damage in transit
Inspect your cabinet on delivery. If it arrives damaged, email us within 7 days with photos and your order number. We’ll arrange repair or replacement and handle the freight claim ourselves.
Keep the original packaging until you’ve inspected the cabinet. Without packaging photos, we may not be able to claim against the freight company, which limits what we can do.
5. Returns and refunds
Standard configurations: 30 days from delivery to return for a full refund. The cabinet must be unused, unmarked, and in its original packaging. You cover return freight.
Made-to-order configurations: Final sale. Custom drawer combinations are built specifically for you and can’t be resold. We’ll confirm whether your order is standard or custom in your order confirmation.
Faulty goods: Covered by the warranty (see warranty page) and your rights under the ACL.

6. Warranty
Lifetime on cabinet shell, 5 years on drawer mechanisms, 12 months on consumable parts, 30-day money-back guarantee. Full terms on the warranty page.
We hold replacement parts pricing for 24 months from purchase to keep repairs predictable.
7. Installation and use
You’re responsible for installing the cabinet correctly and safely in your vehicle. We provide general mounting guidance, but every vehicle is different. If you’re not confident, get a qualified person to install it.
The cabinet is designed for storage in road-going vehicles under normal operating conditions. It’s not rated for:
- Off-road racing or competition use
- Permanent off-road or marine environments
- Carrying live loads (people, animals)
- Use as a step, seat, or structural support
Use outside intended conditions voids the warranty.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your purchase is limited to the price you paid for the goods.
We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including lost income, damaged tools, vehicle damage, or third-party claims — except where the ACL says otherwise.
Nothing in this clause limits non-excludable consumer guarantees under the ACL.
9. Intellectual property
All content on tek-case.com.au — designs, photos, copy, branding — is owned by Tek Manufacturing Pty Ltd. Don’t copy it. The product itself is yours once you buy it; the design isn’t.
10. Privacy
We handle your data under our privacy policy.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The “last updated” date at the top is current. The terms that apply to your order are the terms in force when you placed it.
12. Disputes
If something goes wrong, email us first — we’d rather sort it out directly. Most issues resolve in one email.
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute that can’t be resolved between us is subject to the courts of Queensland.
