Tek Manufacturing Pty Ltd (ABN 71 651 285 013) trades as Tek-Case and operates tek-case.com.au. We take your privacy seriously and handle your personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
When you place an order: Name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, payment details (processed by Stripe — we don’t store card numbers), order history.
When you browse: IP address, browser type, device, pages visited, time on site. Collected via cookies and Google Analytics.
When you contact us: Whatever you send us — name, email, message contents, photos if you attach them.
When you sign up to our email list: Email address, and your name if you give it to us.
Why we collect it
To process your order, ship your cabinet, handle warranty claims, respond to your questions, send you receipts, and send marketing emails if you’ve opted in. We use site analytics to understand what’s working and what isn’t so we can build a better product and a better site.
Who we share your data with
We don’t sell your data. Ever.
We share what’s necessary with:
- Stripe — payment processing
- AusPost, Aramex, or other freight company — to ship your order
- Google Analytics — anonymised site usage
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — advertising pixel data
- Mailerlite — if you’ve subscribed to our list
- Our hosting provider — to run the site
We may also disclose information if required by law.
Cookies
We use cookies for cart functionality, site analytics, and advertising. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the site (like checkout) won’t work properly without them.
Marketing emails
If you’ve opted in, we’ll send you product updates and occasional offers. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Click it and you’re out — no questions.
How long we keep your data
Order records: 7 years (tax law requires it). Marketing list: until you unsubscribe. Site analytics: 26 months. Support emails: 3 years.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Show you what we hold about you
- Correct anything that’s wrong
- Delete your data (where we’re not legally required to keep it)
- Stop sending you marketing

Security
We use HTTPS across the site, Stripe for payments (PCI-DSS compliant), and standard hosting security. No system is bulletproof — if there’s a breach affecting you, we’ll tell you.
Complaints
If you think we’ve mishandled your data, email us first. If we can’t resolve it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner: oaic.gov.au

We’ll update this page if our practices change. The “last updated” date at the top tells you when.
